FINAL PROGRAM

Instructions for Presentations

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

1. Each presenter will have a time frame for his/her presentation INCLUDING questions: 20 min for the majority of speakers, 30 min for invited speakers and 60 min for plenary Speakers.  It is recommended that the speaker allows 5 min for questions (plenary speakers 10 min).
2. The program schedule is tight and the chairs of the session will stop any oral presentation that surpasses the designed timeframe without time for questions.
3. To avoid losing time at the beginning of your presentation is recommended that you deliver your presentation in an USB to the assistant in the conference room BEFORE the start of the session.  Please name your presentation with your ID number if you are a contributor or your last name if you are an invited or plenary speaker.
4. After the session is finished it is recommended that you ask the assistant to DELETE your presentation from the computer used for the presentations.
5. If you decide to use your own computer for your presentation take into account the following points: bring along with you an appropriate converter to connect with the projector (available projectors use HDMI and VGA connections, however at this time we are not sure which projector is going to be in which room) There is also NO MAC interface to connect. Charge your computer battery BEFORE your presentation, we cannot guarantee a charging spot inside the conference rooms. The time needed to start your presentation due to connectivity issues is going to be deducted from your total presentation time.
6. There is going to be a laser pointer available for presentations; however if you need a high quality laser, please bring your own with you.
7. The official language of the event is english only.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTERS

3. The title should be written in letters at least 5 cm tall.
4. The text should be readable from a distance of 1.5 m, so letters in figures and drawings should be large and clear.
5. A logical sequence must be used in the preparation of the poster (e.g. introduction, objectives, results, conclusions, acknowledgements, references).
6. It is recommended that the poster is printed in bond, glossy paper or even thin fabric so it can be easily mounted on the available panels.
7. The official language for the posters is english only.
