Denise Freitas Siqueira Petri is full professor at the Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo since 2014. Her research focuses on natural and synthetic polymers for biological and environmental applications. She published 174 referred papers and 5 book chapters. Her publications reflect her interests in macromolecules at surfaces and interfaces. She is inventor of three patents. She is Associate Editor of Cellulose (Springer-Nature) since 2020, member of the Editorial Board of Carbohydrate Polymers (Elsevier) since 2021, and member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Polymer Association since 2021.
